Producer

Odakko Project Smallholder Producers

This exceptional Sidama SP 011 Yaye lot comes from smallholder farmers participating in the Odakko Project, a program focused on improving quality and traceability through careful cherry selection and meticulous natural processing. The coffee is grown in the highlands of Sidama where elevations above 1,900 meters and nutrient-rich volcanic soils create ideal conditions for producing intensely aromatic Ethiopian coffees.

The 74158 variety, developed by Ethiopia’s Jimma Agricultural Research Center, is prized for its resilience and expressive fruit character. With the Grade 1 Special Preparation, only the highest-quality cherries are selected and processed, resulting in an exceptionally clean natural coffee.

In the cup, this coffee delivers deep fruit complexity with notes of dried plum, cooked blueberry, and burnt sugar sweetness, accented by fresh bergamot aromatics. A winey acidity and lush fruit sweetness carry through to a long, layered finish.
