The 11oz Bold[en] Beans 'classic' coffee mug is the perfect option for your home coffee bar to add to your collection of cups. Durable designs that have been produced to withstand repeated wash cycles following use.

Two color options: Bright white with bold designs for minimalism with big statements to be made. We also have a "Black" - heat sensitive mug that at room to cool temperatures will appear black but will turn white revealing the printed design when exposed to heat! Just like our curated coffee selections, we hope our products tell amazing stories too.

- This is a statement of quality as much as it is a statement of identity. Our founder Eric Bolden enjoys thoughtfully sourcing and roasting exceptional coffee. Specialty coffee can be complex, but enjoying it doesn't have to be! Eric believes roasting coffee dark is a disservice that can withhold some of those incredible complexities that came to existence through the careful nurturing and harvesting of the coffee plant by our producers. Each coffee is curated to boldly express its origin whether isolated or in a blend. In the last 200+ years of coffee in America, a Black-owned coffee business only first became nationally distributed in 2020. Eric along with many other creators hope to continue to step through this door that has been opened to take space where there is plenty of room! We appreciate you choosing to drink Black and never dark.

- Bolden Beans Coffee Company was an idea established in 2020 with a vision of a new day. Those expressions are visible with keystones from left to right symbolizing time setting on principles and moving toward further goals. We started in Washington, DC represented by the coordinates to the National Arboretum on the left side of the mug and became a force for production and recognition when moving to Chicago, IL represented by coordinates on the right side of the mug. Our core is our principals in quality and representation "drink Black never dark" and with growth each new day we are driven to "be bold be strong." We tear down barriers with specialty coffee sourced worldwide, roasted for everyone.

Calling Codes
- We want to normalize making this big world feel more personal, maybe a little smaller. Coffee through its many seasons (literally and figuratively) has changed as a tool, a sense of wonder of another place around the world, to a realized product of hard-working humans that spend years to carefully produce something that then travels trough so many hands to then be roasted and eventually brewed to make its way to a cup. We can't always go through the lengths of telling these stories, but we will always try. One method we use to introduce this Big Little World of ours is through our regional distinctions using colors Yellow (USA, Central America, The Caribbean, and South America), Red (Asia-Pacific), and Green (Africa and Middle East). Our selections and their profiles models those geographic regions for you to explore. The country calling codes are used on our bag identifiers for the lot codes so you always know where your coffee is coming from. Each coffee producing country in each region is represented by calling codes found on the rings of numbers printed. Wake up, your coffee is calling!

Farms to Channels
- Speaking of the journey of coffee its a bit of a gaff to think after all that coffee goes through there is so much that can go "wrong" when its brewed. From the start of a newly planted seed on a Farm through its journey through the channel of processing mill, importer, roaster, and consumer. "Channeling" is the term used for water that has found pathways within a coffee bed that doesn't optimize the given extraction method. For some of our enthusiasts this absolutely kills them. Some of us even go about our day with the belief that we can't survive without coffee. Meanwhile, there are humans that truly do have lives that depend on their product being successful at each harvest. All said, lives depend on coffee.
